What transformation occurs in this program?

Here you affirm your uniqueness and learn to customize yoga’s self-care techniques to suit the individual. You never force yourself to fit into a pose. You accept self-first and then creatively shape techniques to fit you. Uniqueness includes lifestyle and culture.

Encouraged to use your inner attention to raise your consciousness, you will experience more profound peace and connection with your authentic self. Your confidence in your teaching style builds daily with the support of knowledge, skills, peers, and insightful facilitators. Your lead instructor is an experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and Certified Yoga Therapist who has been certifying teachers for 15 years. She first studied how to teach yoga at Esther Myers Yoga Studio in Toronto. The easy yoga style, inspired by Vanda Scaravelli, makes yoga poses accessible and safer. Heather further integrated the holistic and therapeutic aspects of yoga studying with Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT). She is a Certified Yoga Therapist who shares yoga for well-being. On this journey, time and time again, you return to the here and now to embrace what is. Still, there is the challenge of experiencing the best of yourself. As you reinvent yourself and rise, you unconsciously and consciously influence those in your circles. During this 100-hour course, you’ll learn what you need to know to lead your unique yoga classes with confidence. This rare study rests on the principles of self-determination and self-responsibility. That’s why you will craft your own curriculum with an African or Asian focus.
